UEFA B Licence
Please note: To be eligible for this course you must:
• Have been born in Gibraltar.
• Resident in Gibraltar.
• Work in Gibraltar.
• Registered to a club in Gibraltar.
Aim
The course is framed within our Gibraltar Principles of Play, additionally we fundamentally aim to create coaches who have the capacity to plan and design meaningful practice, adapt to the varied contexts and challenge their personal philosophy to develop the individuals' and teams multi-disciplinary demands. Central to this is developing the coaches capacity to utilise and apply reflective practice techniques.
About
Delivered through flexible teaching methods over a 9-month period, the course is framed through a series of online contacts and pitch side sessions, with support provided between each contact by our highly skilled mentoring staff who will challenge the individual needs of the coach within their own context. Following this will be three opportunities for coaches to deliver practically.
Outcome
Upon successful completion of our online modules, distance learning tasks and ongoing mentoring programme, candidates will gain the UEFA B Licence qualification.

You will be required to attend 1 from each OA1, OA2 & OA3 which will be discussed with your Mentor.
UEFA B Licence Criteria
To apply for the UEFA B Licence, applicants must meet the criteria detailed below.
Essential
• C Certificate (or Level 2 equivalent)
• Current First Aid Award or equivalent
• Current Safeguarding Award or equivalent
• Coaching CV detailing your Coaching and Playing Career to date
Desirable
• GFA/FAW Coach educated
• Coaching in Gibraltar
• Have Gibraltarian heritage
• Played at national league level or above
