This online eLearning award provides a basic and engaging introduction to the organisation of football practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on engaging with the young players of today.

The award provides learners with an opportunity to discover and consider the technical and social support that we, as coaches, can provide to our players, discussing various practical aspects. These include: the importance of area size, practice transitions, progressions and regressions, as well as ensuring the learner takes a closer look at themselves, their role as a coach, and how they currently share the messages they provide players.

This course is solely online and will not require attendance at a Practical Day.

On completion of this course you will receive an FAW Football Leaders Award Certificate.

Please Note: All FAW Coach Education awards require candidates to be a minimum age of 16 before accessing any of our resources, modules or practical contact days.

Please note; To support the alignment of Coach Education, Club Accreditation and the COMET Coach Registration process we will me moving the expiry date of our FAW Grassroots Awards. Currently our awards are valid until the 31 December, this will change on the 1 April 2020 to a new expiry date of the 31 May.
